Our Wedding

Jason and I were married on August 22, 2008 in Littleton, Colorado. It was one of the happiest days of my life. I can't wait until we can go to the Temple to be sealed for time and all eternity. Here are some pictures from the wedding.

I was so happy.

Leaving the Church. Everyone blew bubbles at us.

In 2010 Jason and I are going to be sealed in the Denver Temple. I am so excited to be sealed to my best friend for time and eternity and to have our son sealed to us. I am so happy to be a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints because it teaches me that we can be a family, not only here on Earth, but after we leave this world too. Our family can be together forever.

A Day with Aunt Rachel

A couple days ago I watched my four year old sister, Rachel, for a few hours. It was a lot of fun. She is a character. My favorite quotes from the day were: "I feed Tiny [their dog] chocolate. Don't tell my mom and dad." " I have a baby in my tummy. Her name is fruit loops." (When I was pregnant she began saying she had a baby in her tummy too. Kids say the darnedest things.) She really enjoyed playing with Wyatt. He was in his saucer and she would teach him how to dance (she is in a dance class) and she would play with him. It was a lot of fun. Here are the pictures I took.

A Cousin for New Years

Around 10:30am on New Year's Eve we found out that Jason's sister, Nicki, had gone to the hospital because she was in labor. At 6:35am on New Year's Day Mollie Claire Mcguire was born. She was 8lbs 4oz and 20.5 inches. I am so excited for Wyatt to have a cousin nearby.

Wyatt's First Christmas

2009 was our first Christmas with Wyatt. It was a lot of fun. I am so excited for him to believe in Santa and to understand the real meaning of Christmas.

Christmas began with a Vansyoc family dinner at Maggiano's. It was so delicious. I LOVE stuffed mushrooms. The company was really good too. We went with Bob and Lee, Shawn and Nicki, and Dennis and Ada. Jason and I had a really good time.

We spent Christmas Eve with my Mom. My brother, Joe, and his wife, Rianne, had come in from Utah. My brother, John, and his girlfriend, Cassandra, came in from Idaho and my sister, Emma, flew in from Hawaii. We had a nice dinner and then we opened presents. We got Wyatt a set of cardboard books based on the movie Cars and a glow worm (he really loves his glow worm. He likes to suck on its ears and hands). From Grandma and Grandpa he got a saucer. Jason and I had a hard time getting it together, but as soon as Wyatt got into the seat he loved it. The saucer has a bunch of little toys all around the seat so that Wyatt can be entertained no matter which way he is facing. He loves the little bird and the flower. My favorite is a little mirror that has three buttons in front of it. When Wyatt hits the buttons it plays music. The first time he sat in the chair he began hitting the buttons and playing the music. (He LOVES music. When I was pregnant,he would move when I was listening to music.)
Wyatt's other favorite toy on the saucer is the Pandas on the SeeSaw

On Christmas Day we woke up at 6:45am and went to my Dad's. My little sister, Rachel, is 4 years old and very into Santa. It is so much fun to watch little children at Christmas. Wyatt got a ton of cute clothes from Omi and Opa.
They also gave Wyatt some money to start a college fund. After we opened presents, everyone gathered around the table to eat yummy cinnamon rolls and bacon. Then everyone began to play with their presents and take naps (opening presents at 7am is a little early).

This suit is a little big, but the way Wyatt is growing it will fit very soon.

After breakfast we went to visit Jason's parents. On our way, we picked up Grandma Shirley (Jason's Grandma). It was fun because Halmoni and Harabeogi got a lot of time to play with Wyatt. I fell asleep on the couch and Jason passed out on the floor. A little later in the afternoon Uncle Shawn and Aunt Nicki came over. Wyatt got a lot of cute clothes from his grandparents and from his aunt and uncle.
Halmoni and Harabeogi also bought Wyatt and his cousin Mollie a swing for Christmas. Wyatt loves to be in the swing. Yesterday we were at Bob and Lee's and he slept in the swing for almost two hours.

For dinner we headed back to my Dad's house for a nice turkey and ham dinner. We had green beans and mashed potatoes. My favorite was the Cranberry Salad that my Omi used to make. I think I have had it at almost every Christmas. Yummy.

It was a great Christmas. What more could I ask for. I have a great husband and beautiful son and tons of family. I am sooo blessed.

Wyatt's First 4 Months

These are some of my favorite pictures from the last four months. It has been such a joy to have Wyatt in our family. He is such a sweet baby. Sometimes he looks at me and then he smiles. That moment makes everything worthwhile. For me, there is nothing better than being a mom to Wyatt and a wife to Jason. I love them both so much.

I took this picture with my phone while we were at the grocery store. He was giving me this intense stare. I thought it was really cute, but I think he was trying to be mad at me.
Oh, and, this bear suit is soooo cute. He looks like a little ewok. We were at a doctor's office today and all the women working there were standing around us, gushing about how cute he was and how cute his little outfit was.

One of Wyatt's first smiles. His smile will melt any heart. (He is already a lady killer. I think it is just going to get worse as he gets older.)

A few seconds later Wyatt woke up and he was not happy that I was taking his picture.
